Terms & Conditions of hire:

1. The quote/invoice includes rental of the goods required for up to 8 weeks. There is no refund or deduction in price should the property sell beforehand.

2. Payment terms are: to be paid at Settlement directly from the proceeds of the sale, this agreement gives irrevocable authority to the Vendor's Conveyancer to pay this account, should the property be withdrawn from sale within 90 days of the date of the photography of the property or not settle within 120 days of the date of the photography of the property, this account will become due immediately. Overdue accounts will be subject to a late payment fee of 5%.

3. Any negotiations regarding payment options must be made directly with Sell in Style prior to furniture being installed.

4. After the initial 8 weeks hire period the option of 4-week extensions will be offered at 50% of the original hire charge (should the furniture still be required). This extension charge will apply automatically. It is the property owner’s responsibility to ensure that Sell in Style is advised if an extension is not required. Should the hire period expire, and the invoice remains unpaid, the furniture will be scheduled for removal and no extensions will be granted.

5. Accounts not paid in full by the due date on the invoice risk the early removal of the hired furniture at any time.

6. We encourage customers to treat the furniture and homewares supplied with respect. Any damage or soiling that requires cleaning or repair will be charged on a separate invoice after consultation with the client. Please note that beds are not to be used under any circumstances.

7. The furniture must be removed by Sell in Style Staging from the property prior to any works being carried out on the property, e.g. painting etc.

8. Small brass plated picture hooks are used to hang artwork. These fixings are left in place following collection of the furniture. (In masonry walls, wall plugs with screws will be used).

9. Please ensure that you have adequate contents cover $10,000.00 minimum to protect the furniture in the result of theft/damage. Landlords please check your insurance cover.

10. All rental goods remain the property of Sell in Style Staging.

11. Furniture must remain at the original location/delivery address and may only be re-located by Sell in Style Staging. The cost to relocate furniture is 20% of the total price inc GST. If any furniture is moved without the knowledge and prior consent of Sell in Style, the entire hire charge will apply again.

12. In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you (the hirer) will be liable for all costs incurred in the collection of the outstanding amount, including legal demand costs.

13. Hirer acknowledges that there may be minor variations from the Styling Quote at the discretion of the Stylist upon installation.
